0% Takeout on Win Bets for Preakness 150 – Only at AmWager

All AmWager customers who opt in and bet the Win pool on the 150th Preakness Stakes (Race 13) on Saturday, May 17th will receive a total payout for their Win wagers that is calculated as if the entire Preakness Win pool – and not just AmWager customers’ wagers – was calculated with a 0% takeout.
In 2024, Seize the Grey won and paid $21.60 for a $2 bet. With the AmWager 0% Takeout Preakness Promo, the same $2 win bet pays $26.35.
Once the Preakness race is made official, AmWager customers will receive the original tote payout, and will then be awarded a bonus equivalent to the difference between the official tote price and the payout as calculated with a 0% takeout. Preakness 0% Takeout Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility: The Preakness Stakes 0% Takeout Promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to individuals who meet the following criteria: Must be 21 years or older. You must opt in to the Preakness Stakes 0% Takeout promotion. This promotion is only available in conjunction with standard rewards tiers and is not available with concierge, VIP, or custom reward tiers. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of AmWager (the “Sponsor”) are not eligible to participate.
- Promotional Period: Saturday, May 17th
- How to Enter: Participants must opt in to the promotion by following these steps: Log into their AmWager account. Opt in to the Preakness Stakes 0% Takeout promotion. Participants also must place a winning WIN bet on the Preakness Stakes on May 17th, to be eligible for the 0.22 bonus credit. Place, show, exacta, quinella, trifecta, superfecta, daily double, grand slam, and pick bets are not eligible. Cancelled or refunded wagers do not apply.
- Bonus Amount & Cap: The bonus amount for each winning WIN bet will be 22% (0.22x) of the gross winning payout, which represents the equivalent of a 0% takeout on the pool (assuming a 18% takeout rate). The maximum bonus is $200 per day per account. Bonus funds will be credited to the customer’s account within 48 hours of the end of the race day and will be applied as wagering credit. Bonuses are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The 0% Takeout bonus must be used for wagering purposes within 30 days of being credited.
- Good Standing: Customers must be in good standing with AmWager.com to receive the bonus. Any customer who violates our terms and conditions will not be eligible for the bonus.
- General Conditions: The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or unfair conduct.
