History
Riccarton Park racecourse has been racing since 1855, located on 165 Racecourse Road Sockburn Christchurch 8042, Racecourse Road off Yaldhurst Road, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch. It is 11 minutes south of the International Airport and 15 minutes west of the central business district. It is home to the Canterbury Jockey Club and the main thoroughbred horse racecourse for the Christchurch city area in New Zealand.
Track Details
It offers eleven suites in the Club Grandstand, each catering for 15 to 70 people. More options are available for Cup Week. The suites are specially designed for top-class enjoyment of Riccarton Park’s racing action and are regarded as the best Corporate Venue in Christchurch.
