Te Aroha Racecourse
Te Aroha Racecourse is a horse-racing track in Te Aroha, Waikato, New Zealand. It opened in 1999 , at Stanley Road South.
History
The Te Aroha Jockey Club re-branded itself as Racing Te Aroha in 1999 when it became part of the TRAC group. It is situated on Stanley Road South, about 3 kilometers from south of Te Aroha’s business area, North Island, New Zealand.
It holds ten meetings each season, featuring Fiber Fresh NZ Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes Group 1, WFA Fillies & Mares; J Swap Contractors Te Aroha Cup; and Team Wealleans Open Handicap.
Track Details
It is one of the longest home straights in the country. It also provides full training facilities. The site covers approximately 120 acres. The track running direction is counterclockwise, hosting thoroughbred racing. It has two grandstands and several lounges. Membership costs $40 per individual and $50 for double every year.
