Hippodrome De Moulins is a horse racing track in Moulins, France.
History
It is located at the Allée des Soupirs Moulins 03000 France, on the banks of the Allier. A horse track in Moulins, France, featuring harness, steeplechase, and thoroughbred racing, open on March-June, September-October. Moreover, it is the only one in France to place the scales in the middle of its presentation round. It was redeveloped from May 2007 to April 2009, offering new stands containing 1000 seats, a new panoramic restaurant area, and a new presentation round.
Track Details
The site covers 27 hectares that can accommodate 1,200 people and a car park with 500 spaces. It has a flat grass track of 2000 m with rope on the right, a 1000 m straight line, and a 20 m width. At the trot volte to the right, the starting areas are 2,225m and 2,800m, and at a gallop, starting stalls. For obstacles, it has six hurdle courses from 3000m to 4000m; steeplechase course from 3600m to 4400m; and cross-country course from 4500m to 5400m. The gallop track is 2000m, with a straight-line of 1000 m, 20m width, and a trotting track of 2000 m.
It also offers a restaurant, a refreshment area, a Pari-Mutuel Hippodrome information office, a panoramic room of the racecourse, a fully equipped bar, 93 boxes, and six stalls. Other services are catering and buvette.
