History of Mardi Gras Casino and Resort
1985 – The Mardi Grass Casino and Resort was opened in 1985 with its original name Tri-State Greyhound Park. It also originally focused on greyhound racing before the table games and Tri-State Casino and Resort arrived.
1990 – The establishment was sold to Hartman & Tyner.
2002 – Added another 57,000 square-foot gaming facilities. As a result, the name was changed to Tri-State Racing & Gaming Center in the same year.
2008 – It continued to prosper until 2008, with the addition of table gaming and expansion for the 150-room luxury hotel accommodations.
2010 – They renamed the facility to Mardi Gras Casino & Resort, which is the current name.
2018 – It is owned by Delaware North, which was sold to them by Hartman & Tyner in March 2018.
