Bluff’s Run Open Final – Race 4

Good day and thanks for checking in on my blog. In this entry we will be taking an in-depth look at the fourth race on Wednesday’s Bluffs Run Program.

This race will be contested over the Bluffs Run 550-Yard Course and feature one of the best greyhounds in the country in Boc’s Hank Jr.

bluff world herald#1 XKT Jim Thurber – This greyhound has been very consistent as of late. This son of Djays Octane and Gable Gulp has “hit the pay sheet” in his last eight outings. In his last outing, this red male overcame trouble at the start and in the escape turn to finish a hard charging third. Thurber should like the inside post he draws today.

#2 Helpme Helpyou – Here is a greyhound who will need a form reversal in order to be competitive in today’s feature race. After being away from the races for two months, this son of Djays Octane and Ocean Avenue encountered traffic in the first few yards of his comeback race and was never a factor. Helpme will need a sharp break today in order to reverse his racing fortunes today.

#3 Fremont County – This is a talented young greyhound who has a very bright future. In his first career Grade A start, this 70-pounder broke a step slow, was forced wide in the first turn, and was never a factor. if this red male can show more early speed today, he could easily “hit the board”.

#4 Boc’s Hank Jr – Hank is simply one of the best greyhounds in the country. After running into major traffic problems in the final of the Bluffs Run Open, this son of Kiowa Mon Manny and Boc’s Miss Rodeo returned to his winning ways in his last start. In that race, the current win leader at Bluffs with 19 victories used his great rush and early speed to easily dispose of his competition. The obvious and deserving favorite

#5 Astar Fireengine – Fire will be one of two rank outsiders in today’s field. This brindle male will find the Grade A “waters” very deep after taking advantage of a great spot in his last Grade B race. I would be shocked if this greyhound ran in the trifecta today.

#6 DS Sip N Si – Another greyhound that will be looking to rebound off a poor effort in his last start. After a solid second place finish two starts ago, this 76-pounder broke slow and finished last in his most recent race. Sip definitely has recent races that will make him very competitive in this contest.

#7 It All Worx Out – This greyhound comes into this race off a fantastic effort in his last race. In that race, this son of Rhythmless and In The Worx used his good late speed to overcome a slow start and some early traffic problems to finish second. Worx will be used on almost all of my tickets.

#8 RF Sansa – The other rank outsider in todays’ field. Sansa appears to be overmatched in this Grade A feature. She will need a career best effort to be a factor this afternoon.

Possible Wagers – The #4 Boc’s Hank Jr will be very tough to beat today. I will be “keying” him over the #1 (Thurber), #3 (County), #6 (Sip N Si), and the #7 (Worx Out) in trifectas and superfectas.

Thanks for reading and good luck!!
