How to Use AmWager Pro %

Mastering AmWager Pro %
1. Pick the wager you want
It could be a simple Win bet or an exotic wager like a Pick 4.
2. Choose your horses
Pick the ones you like and then give each one a percentage. That could be based on how likely you think they are to win or just how much you want to invest in them. If you want to take a stand against a horse, simply assign it a value of 0, or leave it blank, and it won’t appear on your bets.
3. Let Pro % do the work
The system takes those percentages and builds every possible combination for your bet. Then it applies your budget in a way that matches your opinion. The stronger your opinion, the more money goes toward it.
4. Place your bet
Once you review the combinations and feel good about them, hit submit and you're in the game.

How Does Pro % Work?
Pro % takes the percentages you input and goes through a multi-step process to calculate your best wagers. The Process varies a bit between multi-race (or horizontal) pools and single race (or vertical) and is outlined below:
- Step 1: Using input probabilities to generate a probability for every possible combination of the wager.
- For Multi-Race pools this is R1% * R2% for a Double or R1% * R2% * R3%, for a Pick 3, etc.
- For Single Race pools the first leg % is used as is. Then the 2nd place/leg is determined by removing the probability of the first runner, reweighting the sum of all remaining probabilities to 100% then using that as the probability of the 2nd runner. 3rd does the same removing both of the prior etc.
- Step 2: Determine probability floor and drop combinations:
- Probably floor is 100% divided by the total number of possible combinations in the bet.
- A Win pool with 8 runners is 100/8,
- For greater clarity, in the instance above if you allocate a 10% chance to a runner, it will not be included as 10% < 12.50%
- If you allocate 13% or more to a runner it will be included in your proposed wagers
- Exacta with 8 runners is 100/(8*7)
- For greater clarity, in the instance above if you allocate a 10% chance to a runner and 15%, it will not be included as 1.50% < 1.79%
- If you allocate 15% to two runners, it will be included in your proposed wagers as as 2.25% > 1.50%
- Pentafecta (aka Super High 5) with 8 runners is 100/(8*7*6*5*4)
- Pick 5 with 8 runners is 100/(8*8*8*8*8)
- A Win pool with 8 runners is 100/8,
- Probably floor is 100% divided by the total number of possible combinations in the bet.
- Step 3: Allocate minimum wager amount to all remaining combinations starting at the most likely.
- Some combinations may be dropped here.
- Your total investment and the base bet of the pool have implications.
- For example, if there are 100 remaining combinations at a $2 base and you allocate $50 you will only get 25 out of 100 possible combinations.
- Step 4: Allocate remainder of funds to all combinations proportionally to probability (Dutching) this will lock in similar payouts for all probabilities.
