Four Races on the Thursday Card at Southland

southland parkGood day and thanks for checking in on this blog entry. In this article, I will be offering some quick thoughts and ideas on four races taking place on Thursday’s card from Southland Greyhound Park.

The races will be taking place over Southland’s 583-yard course and the 660-yard course.

Race #4 – Two greyhounds (#1 CBJ Tricks and #8 T’s Spectraflame) who have good early speed and are well posted will be my key greyhounds in this race. I will be using the #5 Thrill Deal and the #6 Game Token with Tricks and Spectraflame in quinielas and box exactas.

Race #6 – After two races where he drew poor post positions, the #1 White Night will be wearing his favorite red blanket in this race. The last two times this white and red male has drawn inside post positions, he has won both of his Grade AA races. I will be keying Night with the #4 Natural High, #5 CBJ Kitkat, and the #7 Mega Rice in all exotic wagers.

Race #8 – I will be going with another greyhound who finally draws an inside starting box in the #1 PJ Catinthehat. This 72-pounder is an inside closer that should have lots of room to run in this race. Because this is such a wide open race, I might just hit the “all button” with the #1 in quinielas and exactas and hope for some chaos.

Race #12 – I will be keying the #1 PG Leaping Lila in this distance contest. Lila is an early speed greyhound who should easily make the front in this Grade D contest. I will be using the #4 Bowerbird, #6 Boc’s Snowstorm, and the #7 Syndehkit with the red blanket in quinielas and box exactas.

Thanks for reading and good luck!!
