Saturday Pick’s 8-12-2017

Good day and thanks for checking in on this edition of Jason’s Dog Blog.

In today’s piece, we will be looking at two races taking place on the afternoon card at Southland Greyhound Park this Saturday.

Race #3 – I will be keying the #7 Amf Unopened in the second and third place spots in my trifecta wagers. If this son of Bd’s Grayson and Amf Open Space can drop down to the rail and avoid trouble in the escape turn, I think he has an excellent chance to use his good late speed to “hit the board”.

I will be using the #2 Oshkosh Namba (an intriguing first time starter) , #5 Cragie Jazmina, and the #6 Safe Harbour over my key selection in my trifecta wagers.

Race #18 – I will be keying one of my favorite greyhounds at Southland in the #1 Cash Cow. This daughter of Kc And All and World Of My Own is one of my favorites for one simple reason – she consistently runs good races – yet rarely gets bet down to favoritism. In her last race, this 57-pounder went right to the front and scored and paid over $10 to win. If Cash can break sharp and go to the front, I would expect her to run in the quiniela once again.

I will be using the #2 VJ Midnight, #5 Kiowa Boyd Trip, #6 Atascocita Kurly, and the #7 Fuzzys Nikki Cox with my key selection in quinielas and box exactas.

Good luck in all your wagers today!!
